Personal Chef Services
Safari Chefs offers customized meal and menu planning to meet your personal needs and food preferences. Our services entail weekly menu planning and the advance preparation of weekly meals in your home. For example a family of four has three dinner meals a week prepared by us. In this case a menu is planned and agreed upon and then on scheduled days and times I come to your home to prepare the three dinner meals. Most prepared meals are designed to be eaten family style, meaning that a menu of ceaser salad, garlic bread, sauteed spinach and lasagna would be served at once for family members to share. All you need to do is put theprepared lasagna in the oven, heat the garlic bread, quickly saute the spinach and toss the salad and dinner is served.

Sauces
Learn how stocks are used in stews to add flavor or in traditional French sauces or in making outstanding Mexican moles. Learn some of the basic "mother" sauces like Bechamel to make macaroni and cheese or northern Italian style lasagna or Hollandaise for Eggs Benedict or for sweet fruit based curds like lemon curd to eat out of the jar or to use as a filling for a fruit tart.
Grilling, Braising and Sauteeing
Learn basic techniques that will serve as the basis for your growing repertoire of recipes. There's nothing more pleasing than cooking on an outdoor fire using wood, I think cooking over fire is imprinted in our genetic fabric. Grilling and smoking adds a lot of flavor to foods. Learn how to make your own rubs and sauces for marinating meats for the perfect BBQ whether it be a well mabled bone in rib eye steak, a Mediterranean Kebab or Jerk Chicken.
